Founded in 1964, SMRPC is a voluntary, non-profit organization that provides technical help and advice to its 39 member municipalities. The organization serves as the official Council of Governments and Economic Development District of York and Southern Oxford, Counties.   Their areas of expertise include economic and community development, transportation, land use planning and water quality.
