Steep Falls is a pleasant rural neighborhood on Route 113. We will be providing concepts for re-energizing the area through proposed redevelopment of a vacant mill property, improved bike/pedestrian access to existing roads, and the potential for mixed-use development. The implications of a scheduled bridge widening in the neighborhood will also be examined.
We met with property owners, municipal staff and technical experts March 13th to develop ideas for this site. A summary of the opening portion of this workshop including presentations and discussion is available here. The lessons learned from Standish can be found here.
A public workshop will be held May 30th, at the Standish Municipal Offices from 6-8pm.
